Future Rounds:

The Directorate General of Hydrocarbons in its endeavour to increase the pace of exploration and development of CBM in the country is closely interacting with MOC for carving out additional prospective blocks for future round of bidding. In this context, Eight CBM blocks in the coalfields of Ib valley, Talchir, Satpur, Godavari, Rajmahal, Singrunli, Wardha valley & Northeastern Coalfields of the country have been identified. Drilling of coreholes and generation of CBM related data in these identified blocks would be taken-up.
